A small chat model, running in your browser
A 14.6M-parameter chat model trained from scratch in paperkiln and run by ember.cpp compiled to WebAssembly, so it answers from inside your browser. Both were written by Jonathan Reich. It is good at small talk and knows no facts. The model (19 MB, 8-bit) downloads once; nothing you type is sent anywhere.
